Seaplane

Fastest and most scenic — ~30 minutes total

The fastest and most scenic way to arrive. A 20-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport to nearby Gangehi Island Resort, followed by a 5-minute speedboat ride to Bodufolhudhoo. The aerial views of the atolls are an experience in themselves.

Public Ferry

Budget-friendly — ~5 hours

The most affordable option. Government-operated MTCC public ferries connect the inhabited islands in North Ari Atoll. The journey is slower (~5 hours) but economical, running daily except Fridays.
